Georgios Grapsas is a European Commission official, specialising in the development of infrastructure policies and programmes. From 2008 to 2011 he led the EU infrastructure programme in Niamey/Niger and then regionally as part of the HQ West Africa team.  For the last nine years he has been fully occupied towards meeting the ambitious SDG7 goals in Africa as Team Leader in the thematic unit for sustainable energy and climate change
